Opportunities For Service

Food  Pantry 
Each Monday morning from 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. anyone who has a need may come to the church and join in a circle of friends.  Everyone enjoys coffee and a snack, a few jokes, the latest sports scores, Bible reading, devotional, and prayer.  When it is time to leave each person receives a bag of groceries to take home.  The contact persons are D. Dunlap and B. Boyer. Call if you wish to help with this outreach to our congregation and community or just keep the "goodies" coming each week to the reception area!

Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministry is a training that will equip you so that you can show God's mercy, care, and compassion to another who is hurting.  You will walk beside your care receiver, pray for him or her, and help him or her work through life's difficulties.  Stephen Ministry is our congregation's one-to-one caregiving ministry and is a great compliment to a pastor's care.  God works through Stephen Ministers to plant a seed of hope and healing in a person whose life seems barren and forlorn because of some circumstance in their life.  If you are interested in participating in the next training class or know of  someone who could use a Stephen Minister's care - the contact person is L. Dabney.

Krislund Camp: 

Scholarships Needed Every Year:     
      - Outreach Scholarship Fund - this fund sends children and youth
          from the city of Williamsport to Krislund to have a camping
          experience who would not have that opportunity without our
          assistance!
          The first year is a full scholarship while following years the kids
          participate in fund-raisers to reach their goal.  Funds of $300 are
          needed for each participant.
      - Camper Scholarships - This assists children and youth from
          CCPC who attend camp.  Gifts of $75.00 for main camp and
          $30.00 for mini-camp are needed by early June.
